An Outlook on Global Immigration

The world is a living witness to global immigration in fact, studies show that US, Canada, Europe and Australia are the countries who have received a great number of immigrants in the recent years. Immigration played a vital part in the growth of these nations.

Global immigration can be attributed to several factors such as:

a) Economic reasons
b) Non-economic reasons
c) Personal reasons

Economic development of a country determines its strength and capability to provide employment opportunities for its people. People from under developed countries naturally seek employment overseas. Employment is one of the major reasons that have led to more and more people to immigrate to other countries where they can sustain their daily existence.

Non-economic reason of global immigration includes civilian conflicts of the native land. When there is an emerging war, many people seek the refuge of another country to escape potential threats to their lives. Global immigration can be patterned to numerous hostilities in other countries including political revolution which triggers migration to other nations.

Personal reasons of global immigration are often associated with marriage of an alien national to a foreign citizen. It could also be when a person seeks asylum from another country to escape from life threatening conditions he faces in his native land.

These above mentioned global immigration reasons are just some of the examples why the flow of immigration never ceases. Accessibility to foreign countries is becoming less and less difficult to achieve given the prerequisites that law of each country requires.
