The illegal alien costumes were offered in-store and online which lead to a faster awareness of its circulation. A human group in Los Angeles formally requested the removal of the costumes depicting it a way of being disrespectful and insensitive to the current issues on immigration reform.

One thing is for sure, this incident proves that two sides of the immigration have its own reasons for demanding attention and respect. Those who favor the removal of illegal immigrants say that events like this are just a freedom of expression and it not intended to disrespect anyone. Although for immigrant groups, the joke has a deeper and more serious meaning to it which is why they denounce such.
