New US Border System Monitors Cars in Canada

The US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is the enforcing agency liable for a secure travel of visitors and tourists to the US through its borders. At the same time, it strictly implements laws against illegal contrabands, drugs and firearms. In order to do so, a new and sophisticated technology of defensive initiative was made through the installation of radiation detectors on the Quebec border, while there are other nuclear monitors already installed in other land border crossings and seaports.
The system subjects every passing vehicle that passes the US border for any bombs or nuclear components that may be used for high-powered weapons. It has been a top security priority to ward off any attempts to smuggle these kinds of materials into the US especially after the conflict with al-Qaida group began. A terrorist plot to spread harm to the US is by all means taken seriously and this major border protection scheme is a way to prevent such from happening.
These newly installed radiation monitors is a strong call by the US government that it is preparing itself against all kinds of terrorism.
