In this world, there are many people living in countries where its local government is unstable so as its economy which leads many people to work overseas or for others, permanently seek a new life in a foreign country. These people look for other options since there are not so much job opportunities that can sustain their daily means of living in their native land. With these reasons, immigration to first world countries is at its highest with each coming years. The United States of America is a top choice for many immigrants. In this country, immigrant applications are processed round the clock. However, there are still people who take the short cut from the immigration process. These people are called illegal immigrants.
Entry to the US without following the legal immigration process and procedures is a clear violation of its immigration policies. A foreign national who is settling in this country illegally is not given the privilege that is due a US citizen or a permanent resident. Illegal immigrants are not allowed to take on work without the proper identification and qualifications required in having a part time or full time job. Furthermore, illegal immigrants are not able to enjoy health insurance which is important especially when they reach old age and in need of health care. They will fear deportation anytime once authorities get to their whereabouts.
Getting to live in a foreign country one chooses may not be easy as it sounds but many people chooses this path. Although being an illegal immigrant will not bring any ease in living as well. It will be better to go through the legal immigration process and obtain citizenship at the end. This way, immigrants can fully benefit from the advantages of living in their country of choice.
